The fawning media failed to report the trail of wrecked aircraft and financial and social privilege she enjoyed, and she managed to get lost on the last flight.

"Jackie" Cochran deserves the recognition in a far more truly earned fashion! You rarely see the name, except amongst the cognoscenti.
