How's it possible to know you hit birds, especially if at cruising altitude, there would be no birds up there?
I almost wish postings from the UKs Daily Mail could be banned. The headline is a tad bit dramatic, but that's par for the course for the Daily Mail. Search for this incident on The Aviation Herald and you'll get a more factual account of the incident.
