They won't rebuild the aircraft that was almost completely destroyed in the attack on Hostomel (not Gostomel), they will attempt to complete the second airframe that was never completed and is said to be 60% to 70% complete.

Yes. rebuild is definitely the wrong verb. It even states as such in the article about the second airframe and parts brought together.
It also states 30% gathered so far, but the second craft's tail section was almost complete, they have the wings from the original as well as landing gear from various AN124's, that can be rebuilt, I'd say closer to 45% parts.
I wonder if the Collin's people will be reading this, and their internal gears will be turning to help.

Well thats great but rebuilding will be quite a task due to the extreme damage of it think it will be a new one.
The dream is dead, but we can dream on with the second airframe...
But I have my doubts, years ago the Chinese wanted them to complete it but the project still sat silent... It's going to be expensive, and who is going to foot the bill?
