Ryanair has called for a pre-10 am alcohol ban after a group of holidaymakers forced one of their flights to divert into Paris-Beauvais while en route from Dublin to Ibiza over the weekend. How about not penalizing everyone because a few of the Ryanair customers can't behave, and instead training the gate agents to screen passengers properly? It is ultimately their responsibility to prevent travelers who are unfit from boarding. And don't sell them more alcohol once they get on the plane.

If you're needing to get drunk before 10 AM under ANY circumstances, I'd say you've got a much more serious problem then just being removed from a flight. Oh...it's out of Dublin...never mind...

Ah, airports and airplanes, the only places on earth with natural occurrence of time vortexes.

While you are having a bad morning and are unable to fit a damn plastic cap over your coffee cup, that chap across the lounge with a glass of rye is just trying to fix his jet-lag and get a good night drink before boarding a flight and dozing off in lay-not-so-flat bed for the next 9 hours.
