Four hurt in JetBlue hard landing

It would be interesting to note whether the injuries occurred during the "hard landing" or while conducting the "emergency evacuation". I think this business of pushing physically unprepared people out of an airplane via the inflatable chute when they could simply roll up a mobile boarding ramp is taking the checklist beyond the edge of good common sense.
The problem is, if they do not EXACTLY and with emphasis on exactly and something goes wrong the crew will and are being held accountable to the letter. However, if they do follow it to the letter the crew is not held accountable. I work in the airline industry, and everything has to be exact as printed. Very little to no room to move around in.
