PICTURES: A350 subjected to extreme hot and cold
An Airbus A350-900 test aircraft has undergone two and half weeks of extreme weather tests at a laboratory in Florida. “The A350 XWB test aircraft (MSN2) has completed extreme weather tests at the McKinley Climatic Lab at Eglin Air Force base in northwest Florida,” says Airbus in a statement. As a simple lay person, and a Boeing fan....still, this is just cool.
Interesting, but they only went to +45²C ( 113²F ). It can get to 50²C ( 122²F) here in Phoenix Arizona, and 56.7 °C ( 134 °F ) in Death Valley California.
