They're having problems in the UK with drones and near misses. And are considering lengthy prison sentences.

Posted yesterday with a different URL, which showed a very gripey, condescending outburst by the Lufthansa Grew to ATC. Sounded like typical years ago attitude of the Germans toward the POLES.

Lufthansa plane has near-miss with drone on approach to Warsaw airport

A Lufthansa flight on final approach to Warsaw nearly hit a drone flying about 100 meters away, according to the Aviation Herald, an Austrian news site. The site quoted unnamed crewmembers as complaining about Warsaw air traffic control, noting that the staff there should "take care of your airspace... it is really dangerous." The Embraer ERJ-195, which was flying at about 760 meters (about 2,500 feet) when it reported the incident, landed without further incident three minutes later.

Nothing good about a drone in your airspace but based on the response of the crew, it sounds like a little bit of nationalistic pride, holier than thou, jumped in there. Wasn't much ATC could do except warn other aircraft and notify the local cops.
