1,700 Private Jets Fly To Davos To Discuss Global Warming
The influx of private jets is so great, the Swiss Armed Forces has been forced to open up a military air base for the first time ever to absorb all the super rich flying their private jets into the event, reports Newsweek. (www.breitbart.com) Plus d'info..."“Decision-makers meeting in Davos must focus on ways to reduce climate risk while building more efficient, cleaner, and lower-carbon economies,” former Mexican president Felipe Calderon told USA Today."
This remark from an ex pres of a country run by a sham of a government who's biggest influence is drug lords and we're supposed to believe he's interested in carbon. Hell, all our plants left the US to manufacture there to escape the EPA.
Davos hosts the World ECONOMIC Forum, not a climate change forum. Breitbart, as always, is spinning this to attack liberals when in fact it's a meeting of the 1% to further increase their wealth.
They know how to sell a misleading headline, don't they? If someone were curious about what's going on there, it'd probably better to turn to an actual source of information, such as the organizing group itself:

Climate change is on the agenda: https://agenda.weforum.org/2015/01/your-day-by-day-guide-to-davos-highlights/
Did you notice that the forum was on climate change, development, and growth? In other words, they're talking about how these issues relate together -- the economics of the situation. Nothing in there suggests that it's any kind of forum on climate change itself.
There's no way this can be spun into a story on a climate change discussion, except as a deliberately misleading headline on a substantially less than reliable "news" site. It certainly doesn't deserve the absurd attention it's getting here.

In defending an indefensible position, you seem to miss the point completely: that the creed of the limousine liberals is, "Do as I say, not as I do." If they really care about global warming, could they not fly commercial, which would have reduced their carbon footprint for the trip by more than 90%? In the military we called it, "leading by example." I actually support private flights, and even their right to make those flights. Like many pilots here, I have done more than my share of piloting my own aircraft, but at least my views and actions are not duplicitous. Please don't try to defend such an absurdly hypocritical position.
You act like you didn't deny it had anything to do with climate change well. I nominate James Carlson for the 2016 Democrat ticket!
Breitbart has so far not updated its article.
550 is still a lot, but I'll bet the 1,700 number is the one that sticks in people's minds.
