Allegiant to begin Hawaii services with ETOPS

Las Vegas-based Allegiant Travel Co., parent of Allegiant Air (G4), has been granted FAA ETOPS certification and flag carrier status, clearing the way to begin flights to Hawaii this month (ATW Daily News, July 7, 2011).
