My all time personal favorite. I have a boyhood best friend who zoomed around in USAF go-fast fighters for nearly 30 years. One day he announced that that phase of his life was over. I admired his maturity. That was in the early 1990's. I wondered if I could ever be able to demonstrate that level of grown-up. BUT...He never had any round engine, blue smoke and slow-turning prop time. Last night I decided it was my turn to be the grown up. 56 years, 1 month. My turn.....but if I win the lottery, all bets are off. Clear!
