This US Airways Airbus A321 is taking off from runway 24 Right at LAX. This photo was taken at sunrise, 07:35 am, 6 Nov 2013, an unusually clear day. Downtown Los Angeles can be seen 20 miles away in the background.
Los Angeles is the only planet you can drive to on a freeway. On an average morning it takes about an hour to drive to downtown LA through a maze of traffic-choked freeways.
