Airbus A321 (N181UW)

A hot afternoon takeoff from Runway 36 Center, Charlotte, North Carolina USA. You can see US Airways Charlotte Heavy Maintenance Hangar in the distance. It can easily hold an Airbus A330 in the center bay with room for six smaller planes if they're parked creatively. A smaller "Line Hangar" (out of this photo but just to the left)is used by line maintenance for overnight routine inspections, engine changes, landing gear work and repairs to aircraft of an urgent nature. Specifically, if an aircraft is "broken" (in need of immediate maintenance) at the terminal, it's brought over to the hangar by the "Supertug" (search N758US for Supertug photo). Highly trained and experienced aircraft maintenance technicians (AMT's) do what looks like miracles to get the airplane back on the gate for the flying public.
