Boeing 747-200 (VH-EBQ)
Melbourne, Tullamarine, December 31, 1989.
Just my tip of the hat to all Qantas' queens of the skies in salute to their glorious service which ended with a final flight Monday July 13, 2020.

All Qantas tails but there's a ring-in in the middle. Reg PH-MCF was on lease from Martinair. As Martinair's livery wasn't too dissimilar to Qantas, the red cheat line was left unchanged but the Flying Kangaroo was added on the tail.
Great capture of the queens. I never photographed a Qantas B747 so thank you for sharing! 5 *'s!

OZ Gman_ I've been around airline photography since the 1960s....I've help run the SFO Airline Collectible Show since 1987, 2 shows a year,,,,and I've seen thousands upon thousands of Airline photos but I have never seen that Martinair hybrid paint scheme, that is a cool catch! 5 Roo's !!
Another great classic shot, Gavin! Do I spy a -300/-400 as the third B747 there?
