BOEING 737-400 (N799AS) - This photo shows N799AS turning onto runway 2L for an early morning departure. I cant remember exactly where this flight was headed (I took it a few months back), but I do remember it making a right turn to the south, so my guess is that it was headed to one of Alaskas newer Mexican destinations from SNA.

Oh, yessiree! Another superb snap, Mark, and another one going into my "Best Of Mark See" folder. Exceptional angle, ultra exceptional cropping (keeping that sun / cloud combination in there ... Bravos!). (Check out how the sunlight defines the cloud edges ... awesome!) And the early AM time also sets off the r/w lights, too. Tail-on view; something unique; high five for that, too. I love this snap. ***** ***** (10 stars)

Thanks Gary. I had a head on shot of this aircraft (which I may also post), but I really liked how the sun was shining through the clouds, and like you said, it was a different angle than most other photos.

Excellent shot and catch, Mark! Not to many of these left.

Thank you Dwight. Yea I was pretty excited to see this once since the last one I saw at SNA was here over a year ago.
