Sorry, this is the General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark -- notice the absence of the ECM pod atop the vertical stabalizer
Hey A mentor, I am not sure why they are showing it as a EF-111. That's not what I showed as aircraft type. I typed in F111. Will change it to F-111 and see if that changes things.
F111 is the correct type code. The problem is that FA just lists whatever name it wants to for that type. For example check out the type names it displays for HCAT and CONI. (I've never been able to figure out how they decide what name to display.)
You are right GREG -- FA has no concept of aircraft types vs names ( sigh ); It's a database issue of multiple names / same-type code
