A great capture of a true Navy 'Yellow Peril'! Check the tail; it says N2S-3
What type of plane were you in Mark? Nice photo!
it's obvious on the rudder, but standardized for both Army (as PT-17 Blue & Yellow) and Navy (as N2S-3 all Yellow)
