Before Airbus used its self-developed Airbus Beluga to transport aircraft parts between the various production sites, Super Guppy Turbine aircraft were used, based on converted Boeing B-377 aircraft. Of these aircraft, only four were operated by Airbus. One Aircraft is still in use today by NASA, two are on display in Tolouse and one is a museum plane in front of the Airbus factory in Hamburg Finkenwerder.
