Maybe I just spent too many hours flying the F27 in the 1980s, but that also meant that my life and those of my Pax depended on the incredible reliability of the RR Dart turboprop powerplant...long live the YS11!

Y'know, I was hoping someone would upload a pic of this. Just was reading an article that the MRJ is the first a/c to be designed and built in Japan since these.
