California Pacific became the tenth airline to offer service to Reno, and the fifth new airline in the past four years, joining Southwest, American, United, Delta, Horizon (Alaska), Volaris, jetBlue, Allegiant, and Frontier. Sun Country, which had announced that it would be starting regularly scheduled service later this month, has cancelled its plans to do so.

Good to see they recovered an old Delta ERJ. Any idea what the legit livery will look like?

Greg, Connor and Viv ... Hi to each of you, and many Thanx for your comments. Connor - Yes. There are four a/c in the fleet, and one is already wearing the full paint scheme. Unfortunately, that particular a/c was involved in a ground mishap (at Denver, I think) just a few days prior to last Thursday's inaugural flight and has not yet been fully repaired. I have a bunch of pics that show the Cal Pac livery on signs in the RNO terminal but the pics aren't appropriate to this site. If I get a sec, I'll locate an on-line shot that shows the livery and I'll post a link. Viv -- Geesh. I'm a full month behind.
