Fed Ex's "Diana" (N930FD) is silhouetted by the bright early morning sun directly behind and above it as it makes a U-turn on the runway 16R overrun in order to line up for takeoff on 16R.

I was worried I might burn out the sensor when I snapped this shot headon into the sun, but I took the snap anyway ... and got away with it. No damage to the sensor and the silhouette scene came out sharp and clean.
