That's a Miami Air International fleetbird in the background. I had known it was at RNO, but I was rather surprised to see it ramped at an AAL gate. A short time later, it pushed back and I clicked some fine captures of it departing for KEWR (Newark).

I don't know about one named "Wilbur", but whitetail deer are frequent visitors here in my backyard and on my property... :-)

Hi, Cliff. Must be rather cool to be able to sit back and watch them. When we lived in Maine, there would be an occasional moose in our front yard. If I can track down an old print photo I took, I'll scan it and send it along. Nothing exceptional, but a fun photo. To R.C. >>> In your mid 30s and still struggling to grow up. Thanks, Gary... I'll be watching for it! I had another whitetail close to the house today also. A moose would be a total surprise where I live!!!... :-)

Hey, Cliff, I dug into a bunch of old print pics but I still haven't found that snap of Bullwinkle the Moose in our yard. (It wasn't anything very impressive, but I hope I can find it.) And ... did you ever find that scan of the slide of that RF-4 Phantom II you mentioned? I'd like to include that in my folder of old warbird pics.

I'm not sure that you could have caught that shot any better than what you did. That whole moment captures a great story. Thanks for sharing your picture.
