Airbus A300F4-600 (N148UP)
UPS's N148UP visited Reno-Tahoe International yesterday (29 Jan 2020). I checked my logbook and found I had taken a picture of N148UP several years ago, so I went back thru my digital storage units for the year 2013 and found my photos of this A306.
Taken in April of 2013 with my old Canon T3i, this pic is an early morning (6:46 AM) capture of UPS's N148UP after it had crossed runway 34L on Taxiway Poppa and was preparing to line up for departure on Runway 34R.
Comments
In 2013, when this photo was taken, Runway 34L-16R was closed because it was undergoing extensive maintenance and modernization. Runway 34R-16L was the primary runway being used by large aircraft. Ironically, just a few short weeks from now, history will repeat itself. The same situation will occur again during the spring and summer months of 2020 when Runway 34L-16R will be closed for many weeks and 34R-16L will become the primary runway.
