Boeing 737-800 (N916NN)
American's "Reno Air" heritage livery (N916NN) begins accelerating down Reno Tahoe International's runway 34R for a morning departure to ORD. A portion of the downtown Reno skyline, including Reno City Hall, can be seen in the background of the shot.

It wasn't until this third visit by N916NN that I was finally able to catch a snap of the Reno Air schemebird with the city of Reno behind it. It was worth racing back from CA to Reno to click this shot. It has been an absolutely insane (wonderfully insane) two weeks that have had me transiting back and forth to NFL, SMF, SUU, MCC, RTS, and here; and this is just the start; the pace is only going to become far more intense from now until the middle of October. But there will be plenty of time to catch up on rest when the end of October rolls around.
