Boeing 737-700 (N7816B) - Southwest Airliness newest special livery, the Disney COCO movie special paint 737 (N7816B), is the closest of SWAs seven fleetbirds that spent their overnight hours at Reno Tahoe International. Five of those RON aircraft are visible in this across-the-airport night shot taken at 4:50 AM. Although all seven of Southwests RONs were parked at RTIAs Concourse "B," the other two were not visible from this angle on Charlie Taxiway.

This overnight stay was N7816B's first visit to KRNO since it began flying with this Disney COCO movie scheme. It arrived here from Las V a minute or two before 11:00 PM and departed to return to KLAS shortly after 6 AM so its entire visit was cloaked in overnight darkness, but I was able to get plenty of snaps of it when it pushed back, taxied out, and then took off right past me. Very unique livery.

Hi, Sam. Thanx. I'm practicing up for December. I've been invited to set up on Juliet between the parallels for an hour or two at night. That means I'll have big bright headlights coming directly at me and then in the blink of an eye the planes will pass by and it will instantly be tres dark as they are moving away. The part I'm trying to "master" is having the ISO / shutter / f settings all arranged for intensely bright lights coming at me one second ... and then having to reset all of those settings to get images in intense darkness the next second after it has blasted past me ... while still getting sharp, crisp clarity. (But I'm also looking forward to the rush of having 757 and 767 cargo birds or 737 and A320 paxbirds coming along the r/way straight at me and going by while I'm standing only a few feet away at the HOLD line of Juliet.)

Simply, really - just have 2 of the same camera with the same lens, set for each shot. :)
