Boeing 747-400 (N465MC) - Reno Tahoe Internationals runway 16R is 11,000 feet long and this beautiful GTI B744 used ten grand of its length before breaking contact and beginning its climb. N465MC, operating here as GTI Flt 8804, was departing for KNKT (Cherry Point, NC) with a "sold out" pax cabin filled to max capacity with US Marines and all of their equipment. PS: It never rains in Reno ... except yesterday. The approaching rain is already obscuring the mountains in the background, but the Queen Of The Skies looks wonderful in any kind of weather.
