TY, Mathias. Yes, you are correct. Reno has plenty of great weather, but we don't keep the "green" landscape here for very long. When the spring rains stop falling, this area quickly gets the brown desert colors back. So a scene like this one is always a treat here. (Wave)

I find myself looking at the background more than the plane! The sun and shadow in the hills is fantastic and those houses and buildings nestled in the right corner really put them in perspective! Beautiful shot Gary!
I notice too there's a trail of sorts heading up in the top left. Ever been up there for an overview of the airport Gary?

Hi, Mark. That residential area you see back there is a portion of an area known as Hidden Valley. I've been up on that trail and I have taken clicks of the airport from there, and there are several other vantage points that are as good or (in a couple of places) much better.
