Great Scenic Capture Too!

However, it is in a desolate area on the banks of the Truckee River. Foot access only; numerous rocks, potholes, and old tree stumps to trip over; VERY numerous ditches and small little crevasses to hide in; and, at night, absolute darkness - not even one streetlight. Over the past year, many, many, MANY homeless persons have made an encampment. The danger factor for a lone person loaded down with cameras entering this area at night skyrocketed, and after I was confronted by a group of intoxicated guys one late evening, I stopped going there unarmed. Then, about three months ago, confronted yet again in pitch darkness by a group of at least seven guys, I was able to bluff my way out and I stopped going at night. And now, the day I went there in mid-afternoon, I noticed a RPD cruiser near there. One of the patrolmen, noticing that I was walking into the area, spoke with me briefly and suggested that I stop going to the area at ANY TIME but MOST ESPECIALLY when I was carrying cameras which would certainly: 1) attract the attention of people who might think I was photographing them in their living circumstances, 2) attract the attention of people who might be in need of some fast cash, and 3) slow me down if I needed to exit the desolate area in a big hurry. So now ... well, frankly; it really doesn't seem to be THAT important to me to get photos from this location anymore. Perhaps, in broad daylight, armed, and accompanied by others who are also armed, I might go there agai .... Nah! (lol)

Gman?????????????? gasp, that is crazy! So glad no attacks and theft,,,yes do not go back at all unless 5x of us are there to help in case. But Superb photo..nothing like clicking full on a small Gman photo on FA and watch it enlsrge to a spectacular pic...5x pic 6x story and well. err I better not :)
