BOEING 747SP (N747NA) - Wednesday evening, 6 Jul 2016, NASAs 747-SP "SOFIA" starting her takeoff roll down Runway 02 at Christchurch International Airport. The beginning of another 9+ hour mission over the Southern Ocean gazing at the stars. Lots of $k/min with this flying telescope. Its much cheaper using my telescope, but mine doesnt fly!

The beginning of another 9+ hour mission over the Southern Ocean gazing at the stars. Lots of $k/min with this flying telescope. It's much cheaper using my telescope, but mine doesn't fly!
