A Jetstar A320 on base leg for Queenstown's Runway 05 approach. Photo taken from the top of Peninsula Hill, looking south across the southern leg of Lake Wakatipu. At this position, the Airbus is about the same height as me, and as it continues the circular turn to the right, descends lower, down to the airport for a landing on Runway 05.
