REPUBLIC Thunderbolt (PZT1003) - Military Aviation Museum (MUMA) display this Preserved Republic P-47D-35-RA Thunderbolt PZT-1003 MSN 44-90205 during the open day in trade show "FAMEX 2019" at Santa Lucia AB, in resemblance to the Republic P-47D-30-RA Thunderbolt Number 18 MSN 44-33721 of Mexican Air Force 201st Fighter Squadron also known as "Aztec Eagles" of Mexican Expeditionary Air Force (FAEM) the only Mexican military unit ever to fight outside Mexico itself in support of the Allied war effort in the Philippines during World War II (04/2019).
