McDonnell Douglas MD-88 (N932DL) - KSJC - early 1990s at San Jose, this then new MD-88 working San Jose - to.??? I never knew but Delta snuck these into SJC frequently - In fact I hadn't even noticed until Mark and Mike Durbin tipped me off as there we MD-88s flying SJC,,,I just cannot remember where they where headed. Super snap, T. And it has the Classic Widget tail design which is, IMO, the best that Delta ever had. I believe they made a big mistake when they did away with this Classic Widget (and Sideways Widget) and went to that yucky Colors In Motion tail. And I think the execs at Delta must have felt the same way because Colors In Motion didn't last very long - thank goodness. (lol) TY for posting this excellent snap of the Mad Dog. *****++

TYVM...Agreed,,,Delta should have known better, if it isn't broken, don't fix it...

This livery and plane were meant for each other! I believe I saw they flew from SJC to the then-hub DFW.
