It was delivered to United on April 2, 1987. Northwest registered it as N645NW on July 3, 2000. It was merged into the Delta fleet on October 29, 2008. Kalitta Air acquired it on August 19, 2010 and registered it as N739CK on November 3, 2010. The Cargo Airline registered it as 4L-GEL on June 9, 2017.

Why was this plane at the air force plant in between its short stint with UA and moving onto NW? Was it used for storage? Was it delivered to NW as a freighter and converted at PMD?
