Lake Village, Arkansas, has a unique place in aviation history. The famous aviator Charles Lindbergh is recorded as making his first night flight over nearby Lake Chicot and the town of Lake Village in 1923, while Lindbergh made a stopover there. I recall a monument placed in Lake Village to commemorate this aviation moment.
