Great photo with beautiful background....!
love this plane & this shot
Takes me back to a hangar in Downsview (CYZD[Toronto]), in April 1984, when the first DHC-8-100 was static tested to 105% of ultimate load. Lots of "pops" when the aluminum panels buckled, and "pings" when the Kevlar panels snapped. It was a successful test, meaning that the airframe was permanently deformed, but intact. We structural engineers like those tests. This was at the beginning of a few years when deHavilland was Boeing of Canada.
Great capture - airplane & background. Think there's room for another fuselage stretch???
