I think if boeing reopened the 757 production lines to offer the 757neo to the world,with whatever can be put into an older design, they would sell quite a few. Slightly tweaked engines come to mind as a good start. This place will fly for many more years, and I still hold the opinion the line was closed too soon, for market conditions have come to the understanding of the utility of this stallion. The 737 offers a case in point. The 737 has been made better, so don't try to tell me boeing doesn't know how to do it. They clearly do.
