Cessna T-50 Bobcat (N59188)
1942 Cessna T-50 "Bobcat"; better known as The Bamboo Bomber as it was constructed mostly of wood and fabric to conserve metal during WWII. Other names include Useless 78, Witchita Wobbler & Rhapsody in Glue. Most famous for its role in 1950's TV series "Sky King". (Was the original "Song Bird" before being replaced by a Cessna 310 in later years of the show) Powered by 2-275 HP Jacobs radials, cruise 165mph, range 750 miles.
