The correct registration for this LC-130H Hercules is USAF s/n 76-3302.
Joe Baugher's published information reveals the history of this aircraft...
"3302 (MSN 382-4731) ex USN 160741, which was ex USAF 76-0492. As 160741 to AMARC Jul 28, 1997 as CF0179. Removed from AMARC for rework to LC-130H specs in 1999. Reserialled 76-3002 (edit - 3302). Flown by 109th Airlift Wing of NY ANG to provide airlift support of National Science Foundation research at Antarctica by flying LC-130H airlifters, modified with wheel-skigear in support of Arctic and Antarctic Operations."
