I got to crawl through this B-24 a couple summers ago in Scottsdale, AZ. The cat walk through the bomb bay was impressive. A well restored aircraft.

I had the pleasure of flying in Colling's Witchcraft this past May out of Livermore CA. Nothing like crawling all through the aircraft while in flight, from nose to waist to tail, and assuming those stations for 5-10 min each. If you haven't been up in Witchcraft, you really should do it. It is awe-inspiring and humbling at the same time.

Those WWII birds were tough looking aircraft.

Great photo! Great plane!

Wish someone would have restored a B-24 to Navy PB4Y-1 theme. My father was a USN petty officer bombardier flying out of Clark Field, Philippines in WWII. They used them more as dive bombers on Japanese shipping rather than high altitude level bombing. Thus my father's three purple hearts. He said he dropped his bombs when he could see down the smoke stack on the ship.

Add me as someone who, along with my son, flew in this Liberator many years ago when in visited NJ and was painted in the colors of the "All American." Had a great flight!
