Jet possibly creates loud boom

LIVINGSTON, LA (WAFB) - Authorities say a disturbing noise that may have startled some people Thursday morning was harmless.
People in Livingston Parish reported hearing a loud boom around 10:20 a.m.
The Baton Rouge Metro Airport said the sound was possibly made by a low-flying BeechJet.
Officials said the jet may have broke the sound barrier, creating the noise.
A man in Albany said it sounded like an explosion and shook his house.
