Well single engine operations in twin, is just that. Company policy's, Point of No Return or Critical Point having been , or not been reached or passed. Determines the continued operation of a flight to a planed destination. Oftern a internation flight will divert to an airport in a country they the company has landing rights to, than fly to the nearest suitable airport. Very easy to direct assumptions on a small sample of information.

Okay, was it en-route or in the terminal area? On Approach in to BN then below G/P? CASA use a bigger stick to hit pilots with for that. But lets wait till all sides of the event have their say. Some years ago on a domestic flight into CN, on a DME/NDE let down, the Aero broke cloud and was below the minima. Eventually a CASA employee was a pax on a later flight and noted the same thing happen. The Approach was re-designed. Can only wait for the full report to surface.

Maybe airport security and other staffer's don't like people with Scanners at their airport. So have someone play silly buggers and that gives them grounds to have scanners at the airport, band.

Oh dear. The Australian public have not been told of this in any direct way nor has Sydney Airports Ltd: released any such details. However, there is a lot of traffic into and out of SY. There used to be a $250 landing fee during peak timed, this no doubt, would be higher now and is for all operations. It's common to read is a NOTAM add 30 - 60 minutes holding fuel for IFR operations., something that's been in effect for several years. As for the seconds airport. That will never happen. Do your research of the areas and who used that part of Sydney during the last war.

Sadly a OEM comes up with a design that is a trial; sampled and proved to be a good investment and so, comes the expanded model - the 200). Ansett and TAA bought them and Australia's first insight to the real jet age on the domestic tracks. One model own by an unknown company. Left Perth for Sydney if not Melbourne and unknowingly, broke a speed distance record. The 27 was a design that happened during start of the peak that led to the change of Aviation from American Manufacturers. For years the Flight Engineers, ATP exams were based on the 27 systems. The FAA and Kings Schools, also used that design for the FE Exams. Now with newer electronic equipped Aeros, the pilots of to-day have been scripted away from the value such a design, that excited flight crews and pax who worked with it each day. Even the Russian's copied the design, or I wonder if Boing offered advice. In short, the design created an energy withinAviation and to keep that energy alive, the 27 Aero should be giv

What is being forgotten her, is the amount of software for PC sims. Play about with them and the real panel isn't so confronting. ALso, the Psychologist reading these replies, would gain a wealth of data on how well parents feeling about issuing punishment. The encouragement side of a child's achievements, is lacking. Some of these types of stories on different walls, are more to gauge the reactions and attitudes of those making a reply.

Hey, he's a Crystal kid. These children are extremely advanced and bright. They puts things together without the user manual, it is something they know mentally. So it's no surprised he fired up a turbo and no doubt remained within temp and torque limits.

If said student was on a Xctry, then said student would have know the location of the Aero and seen such outside markings for what they are,

There is something about that event. Why did the Australian government exclude any civil search aircraft and allowed only military contracted operators access to the every changing search area.
