We traveled Business and first respectively on BA during their July 2017 'strike'. The Cabin service was poor, and the excuses given by staff kept being the same "because of of service problems...." Those 'service problems' were BA's not mine, the paying customer! I will never travel BA ágain until they sort this mess out.

I have a family member who is on the Mixed Fleet cabin crew and its very sad to hear of her experiences. I think that BA are about to learn a hard lesson that the success of a company depends on having contented and loyal staff who are proud to be with that company. Virgin Atlantic are a good example of that.

They should be aware its creating a poor example of pride in thier jobs and the company they represent which USED to be one of the best leading airlines in the world, not any more, I avoid flying them because the level of service has gone from very good to very poor and normally a dont care attitude by cabin crew.

Isnt rocket science, its about the workers not giving a damn about those who they serve and pays there wages. Its all about them to hell with customers that's why they choose to do this during vacation times. Nothing more nothing less. That's why they should not take ATC in the US private.

That shows how little you know about why they are striking. Your attitude seems to be that the low priced bargain fare you paid means you are OK with trained crew being paid minimum wages. Meanwhile every day for months now, BA spends millions buying back its own shares with its profits. But it won't pay its staff a living wage.
