What is different about this crash is the stupid social media feeding frenzy that has taken place with a bunch of news outlets feeding off of it before all the facts are out. This same type of problem has happened before not too long off either but no social media to hype it is the difference.

What do you mean by the term of feeding frenzy. Does that include The "tin-kickers from the BEA, BOEING, FAA, and the NTSB. Thesse are legitimate agencies and the aviation engineers and computer experts. Again you haven't got the slightest clue how accidents are handled. This is a legitimate accident where they have allowed the yellow press to participate if the behaved appropriately.
