Meet the world's most travelled man: Briton clocks up 15 MILLION miles of jet-setting
He clearly doesn't let his carbon footprint worry him. A British tourist has become the world's most travelled man after spending a lifetime circling the globe, clocking up 15 million miles, 718 Concorde flights and 139 countries on the way. Wealthy Fred Finn, 70, holds the official record for the most miles travelled by a passenger after visiting an incredible 70 per cent of the world's 196 nations. Most traveled in terms of a passenger, but Airline flight and cabin crews who have long careers, some starting in the military, travel further distances and have more time in the air I'm sure. Nevertheless, this is still an impressive amount of time in the air.
Good point, Zach....although certainly flying the Concorde 3x in a day is some sort of record!
Not nearly as impressive as 700+ Concorde flights as a passenger! That alone cost some big bucks!!
I wonder how much of it was actually business travel...
