Pilots doing there pilot things like they were trained to a well qualified crew in charge.
Anyone know if the AD due in 2018 to change the eec software was complied with on this airframe, which could preclude these flameouts from ice crystal buildup? Rapid throttle reduction at high altitude further exasperates the problem and possible HPT damage and core lock can happen.
