For a person of his level and calibre such an 'assumed and imaginary' accusation is in bad taste. Such statements result into bad diplomatic relations.
Yes, today communication systems are very advanced. BUT one must keep in mind the priorities of the the agencies that deploy such systems.
An ordinary civilian aircraft may interest no one. We all noticed during Snowdon affair that the aircraft of the President of a Latin nation was tracked and forced to land ! Nobody does that kind of tracking of every aircraft.
This MH370 is and was no exception.
Such speculative accusations are deplorable . IMHO !

'Planes don't just disappear': Former Malaysian Prime Minister accuses CIA of covering up what really happened to flight MH370

We really need an International Fellowship of looney politicians for which this guy would be a natural along with Hank Johnson of "Tip over Guam" fame. Lots of other nominations come to mind but these are two of the furthest out.

Not much question that the locals (Malaysians) will neither break the code of what happened to, or reveal what they actually know about their own missing jet. And a big one too! This guy is shooting to replace Qaddafi as the latest, looniest despot.

The CIA couldn't load Castro's cigar, now Dr. Mahathir (an ordinarily nice man and good leader) thinks they could steal a 777?

If the CIA wanted one they could write a check and Boeing would be happy to make them one.

Keep looking boys, it's out there somewhere.

It's out there in a million pieces. At least one of them pilots wanted to meet his maker but didn't want to see the end ordeal so he just turned off the pressurization. Painless.
