Excellent handling qualities at such a ridiculously high AOA. Somewhat similar to the F-14 which could be forced into a 70 degree AOA stable flight condition only by using a longitudinal doublet so resistant was it to departing controlled flight.
How do pilots ever perform maneuvers like that and manage to keep their last meal - lol - I got queasy just imagining what it must be like inside that plane.
Awesome. Too bad I'm too old & visually impaired to try to fly such machines.
I am continually surprised when an Engineer / Test pilot comments about an aircraft "...performing even better that we expected." In this day of CFD, High-Speed Real-time Computing and multiple technological expertise, wouldn't it be better if we could CORRECTLY anticipate an aircraft's performance??
