Question: Assuming doors are "Armed" prior to the aircraft arriving at the gate and being "Disarmed" before being opened, there was no mention of the escape slide deploying. Local reports here said, after the guy jumped out, door was secured and taxied to gate? Anyone know the 73?
I was on a SWA flight yesterday evening and while standing in the back waiting to unload, I mentioned this to the Flight Attendant. She was surprised that the slide didn't deploy as the door should have been "armed". Very interesting...!!!
Has not been mentioned by any of the usual "officials", "experts", or "authorities", that are normally cited in news articles. Odd.
