**GUESS IT HAS TO DO WITH "THE NUMBERS". You know, how long it takes for a TURN-A-ROUND. If SW spends more than 35 min on the ground, (and LITTLE or NO PROPER MAINTENANCE), than that's $$$$ WASTED. EVIDENT of LAST WEEKS COMPUTER PROBLEM. If you WANT TO GROW, with new routes; IE, INTERNATIONAL, MEXICO, PUERTO RICO, the ISLANDS and EVEN CUBA, than PROPER PREPARING IS VERY MUCH IMPORTANCE, maintenance, reservations systems, proper training in doing passport control and such. (wonder if any of their planes are re-furb's from MUSE, or even ALLEGHENY, PIEDMONT, and the list goes on. YEH, they may be updating their planes, but takes time and $$$$ for all that, seems like its PROFIT and more PROFIT, until something like those mention take place. CAN HARDLY WAIT TO SEE the FINAL REPOORT!! thanks

**MAINTENANCE or NOT** THIS IS A "300" SERIES, lots of UPS and DOWNS,WONDER HOW OLD IS THIS PLANE!! Plane probably SHOULD HAVE BEEN "RETIRED" long ago, it may have OUTLIVED its lifespan, if it didn't get PROPER MAINTENANCE...."MOVE EM IN, MOVE EM OUT". SEEMS LIKE REVENUE is GREATER (MUCH) THAN SAFETY, here!

The Tug driver goes home.

Honey how was your day at work?

I had an accident.

What happened?

I was backing up a 737 and broke it.

LOL, I hear ya... But look at the picture... The towbar was not connected at the time. The gear folded on its own and the gear doors even closed. If it had been connected the bar would have been inside the plane.... This smells like another SWA Maintenance Issue.
