I can never figure out why the airlines insist on alienating their customer base. They have perfected it to an art form. I quit flying the airlines 15 years ago and do not miss it one bit. It is stupidity like what is in this article that motivated me to get my pilots license and fly myself. Now i have the freedom to go where i want to when i want to and most times i beat the airlines to the destination. What a waste, we should let them go bankrupt, they are not worth saving.
