A Brussels Airlines Airbus A319-100, registration OO-SSD performing flight SN-3667 from Brussels (Belgium) to Toulouse (France), was on approach to Toulouse when the aircraft performed a go around due to a problem with the flaps. The aircraft climbed from 2500 feet back to 5000 feet and entered a hold while preparing for another approach. The aircraft landed safely on Toulouse's runway 32L about 45 minutes after the go around.

A passenger reported the crew announced they were having some technical problem and needed to check procedures and do some calculations. The passenger noticed that only the slats were extended, the flaps remained flush with the trailing edges of the wings however. The slats were not retracted after landing.

The aircraft remained on the ground in Toulouse for about 90 minutes, then departed for the return flight, needed to go around at Brussels again landing at a higher than normal speed on second approach. The aircraft remained on the ground in Brussels for 16 hours before returning to service.
